About Modern Gladius Fixed Blade
What Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is built to do
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is a fixed blade on The Knife Vault’s fixed blade shelf.
If you are comparing fixed blades and landed on Modern Gladius Fixed Blade, the rest of this page stays with this SKU so the listing is actually distinguishable.
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is an aftermarket take on a Modern Gladius pattern — not a licensed TOPS Knives piece. Geometry and named steel are sold under The Knife Vault name.
What the title on Modern Gladius Fixed Blade actually says
Read the workshop title as the spec sheet: “TOPS Knives Modern Gladius Full Tang Fixed Blade- Black Traction Coating Blade Finish- Black Kydex Sheath w/Dangler (Tan Canvas Micarta Handle).” Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is that listing on the Fixed Blade shelf — not a rewritten neighbour with a swapped H1.
Facts that belong only to Modern Gladius Fixed Blade: Micarta.
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is for the job its shape implies on the Fixed Blade shelf. If you wanted a different form — a bunka instead of a set, a jig instead of rivets, a folder instead of a chef’s knife — this URL is the wrong card.
Skip Modern Gladius Fixed Blade if the title “TOPS Knives Modern Gladius Full Tang Fixed Blade- Black Traction Coating Blade Finish- Black Kydex Sheath w/Dangler (Tan Canvas Micarta Handle)” is not the object you meant to order. Neighbouring cards on this shelf are different SKUs.
Steel, handle, and the listed construction
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade does not print a mill steel on this card. Finish as stocked is Micarta handle. We do not invent a core steel to pad the spec table.
Handle and furniture on Modern Gladius Fixed Blade are listed as Micarta. That is part of this offer — not a generic “wood handle” swapped in from another Xinzuo or workshop card.
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade also calls out Kydex sheath as listed. Those cues belong to this URL.
- Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is listed as a fixed blade on the Fixed Blade shelf, stocked as “Micarta handle”.
- Finish as stocked for the Modern Gladius Fixed Blade: Micarta handle.
- Handle / furniture called out on the Modern Gladius Fixed Blade: Micarta.
- Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is sold as a superclone replica under The Knife Vault name, not as a licensed original.
- Modern Gladius Fixed Blade: Kydex sheath as listed.
Field use for this fixed blade
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is a fixed blade for camp and truck box, not for a kitchen board. Sheath it when you are not cutting.
Full-tang or hidden-tang as the photos show. Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is a working outdoor knife, priced in CAD on the fixed-blade shelf.
Oil, sheath, and storage
Oil carbon steel on Modern Gladius Fixed Blade. Sheath the edge. Adults 18+.
A wet leather sheath will stain a carbon blade. Dry Modern Gladius Fixed Blade before it goes away.
How this fixed blade differs from other field pieces
The commercial title on this card is “TOPS Knives Modern Gladius Full Tang Fixed Blade- Black Traction Coating Blade Finish- Black Kydex Sheath w/Dangler (Tan Canvas Micarta Handle).” That is the offer for Modern Gladius Fixed Blade — not a generic fixed blade copied from a neighbouring SKU.
Other fixed blade listings in the vault may share a steel family or a silhouette. Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is the one whose title, finish, and listed cues are on this URL.
Modern Gladius Fixed Blade is sold from The Knife Vault in CAD with tracked shipping. Read this listing (“TOPS Knives Modern Gladius Full Tang Fixed Blade- Black Traction Coating Blade Finish- Black Kydex Sheath w/Dangler (Tan Canvas Micarta Handle)”), not a lookalike on another shelf.
