A fixed-blade knife does not fold: one piece of steel from tip through the handle, carried in a sheath. This is the Canada hub for that construction — camp, trail, truck-box, and shore work — priced in CAD so a Banff or Halifax order is not a US listing with brokerage later. There is no pivot to loosen and no lock to fail when you are batoning kindling or processing camp food. Folding pocket tasks stay on folding knives and titanium EDC. Wood you should not ask a knife to split belongs on outdoor tactical axes.

The workshop-original rail is small and named: the DC53 fixed blade, a full-tang DC53 camp knife with a Kydex sheath; the 14C28N shadow-wood fixed blade; and the A8 Kydex full-tang fixed blade for camp and truck-box work. We would rather show three honest pieces than pad the grid with aftermarket patterns (those live on a separate shopper aisle) or with axes pretending to be knives.

  2. About 3.5–4.5 inches for woodwork and camp food; longer only if you already know the job. Folders still win the pocket. Axes split the wood a knife should not.
