Swords · Jian and Katana
Jian, katana, and wooden training swords
eight pieces · $107.75 CAD – $604.02 CAD · Tracked shipping · 18+
Chinese jian, decorative katana, and wooden training blades — wall, dojo, or collection, not a pocket knife. Folded-steel claims and hamon lines are described on each product page. Training swords are wood; they are still 18+ because the rest of this store is.
The Knife Vault is a Canadian online storefront, not a forge and not a licensed Japanese togiya. These are sourced pieces, priced in CAD, shipped tracked in discreet packaging. If a listing sounds like a museum replica, read the description twice before you treat it as a cutter.

How to buy from this shelf
- Read the listing: some jian have an edge; some katana are decorative; training blades are wood.
- This is not a pocket-knife purchase. Confirm you can legally own and receive a sword where you live.
- CAD pricing, tracked shipping, free over $150. Swords often clear the threshold on their own.

Frequently asked questions
Sword questions before you order
- Are these battle-ready swords?
- Read the individual listing. Some jian are folded steel with an edge; some katana are decorative; training blades are wood. We do not sell a fantasy “battle ready” badge. The page describes the piece.
- Can I carry a sword in Canada?
- Generally no, not as a sidearm in public. Ownership and display at home are a different question from carrying. Know the law where you live — this is not legal advice. We will cancel an order we cannot lawfully send.
- Do swords qualify for free shipping over $150 CAD?
- Yes. Tracked shipping is 10% of merchandise, free when the order is $150 CAD or more, typically two to four weeks in plain packaging. Swords often clear the threshold on their own.
- Are training swords wood or steel?
- Training swords on this shelf are wood when the listing says so. Steel jian and katana are described as such on their pages. Do not assume a “training” title is blunt steel — read the materials line.
- Are sword prices in Canadian dollars?
- Yes. Every tag is CAD. GST/HST is calculated at checkout from your address. There is no USD cart and no surprise brokerage baked into a foreign checkout. Pocket and board steel live on kitchen knives and folding knives — this shelf is the long blade.
